Gay journavism alive and well

The hype over gay teens
Remember the Time Mag piece on "gay" teens just a week ago? Yeah, the one with the white boy wearing African shells around his neck and looking like he was trying out for a... Well, anyway turns out the story's writer is gay activist John Cloud. Go figure why the article bleeeeeeeeeds tears for sexually confused teens who by the way are quickly branded gay just in time for the recruitment cycle. The article was a real good example of what I call "journavism". Journavism is when so called "news" is written by someone with an agenda. This, of course is seedy gay journavism. It uses a hyped presupposition to bolster a shaky social mindset. Cloud posits that self identified homosexual teenagers are by and large socially well adjusted, normal and healthy. What???

If this is the case why do man-boy organizations like ROSMY, BAGLY and SYMAL beat such dismal drums about "at risk" gay youth? Maybe Cloud didn't get around to investigating all the homeless, AIDS infected, rejected, beaten up at school, mentally unstable, gay teens.

  • Take a look at the frightening state of existence for homosexual youth this PFLAG Phoenix chapter claims exists!
Well, somebody in the gay community is telling a big fat rainbow colored lie about homosexual teens.
Cloud, according to a report by Traditional Values Coalition (TVC) was "given a second place award for "The Governor's Secret Life" by the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association on Sept 1, 2005. And, in 2004, he was given an award by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) for his article, "The New Face Of Gay Power." And, in a Columbia Journalism Review weblog (April 21, 2005), Cloud admits to having a "boy friend."
In 2000, Cloud wrote an article on the Boy Scouts, comparing them to the KKK and asking whether or not the Boy Scouts had the right to freedom of association. The Media Research Center reported on Cloud's homosexual activism disguised as journalism in its April, 25, 2000 issue."

Come on Dl once again you resort to distorting the truth. Report on why those facts and figures exist as they do. Most of the findings are based on youth who are ostracized because of their sexual orientation. It is based on figures compiled from youth who are victims of societies prejudice and bigotry against them.

And you're not guilty of so-called "journavism?" I hardly call what this reporter is doing as part of an agenda, however everything that you report on here is part of your own, misguided agenda.

You are really warped. Maybe if you would stop fighting so hard and just accept the fact that you're gay then you wouldn't always feel the need to get on here with your ridiculous rants.

    To anonymous #1:
I merely pointed out the glaring inconsistency between the rosy, well adjusted picture the homosexual reporter painted and what gay activists are stating about so called homosexual teenagers. Don't blame me, I didnt write the story.

    m. sheldon,
your argument is tired and frankly ..yawn... intensely illogical.

Here's a newflash: Talking about a subject frequently doesnt make you want to or indicate that you are participating is said subject.

Do you actually have a point in this post, or are you simply taking issue with the hapless (and aptly named, I might add) store-bought reporter Mr. Cloud. He is a joke. So if you're looking to score points at his expense, I suggest you're wasting your time as he's already discredited himself beyond redemption.

The point was to point out the inconsistency. That Cloud is self discredited only adds to the depth of the inconsistency.

Right -- you can't have to both ways. Either gay teens are a happy and well adjusted set of perfectly normal kids, or they are a terrorized minority living in a persistent state of terror.

Depending on the angle of the agend being advanced, your activists feel free to portray them in whatever light works best.

    Marty,
Its not my desire to "have it" either way. I didnt create the conflicting set of lies about so called gay teens. Homosexuals did. It is because of gay's greed and deception that Americans see these lies as part of an agenda to falsely identify sexually confused children. Thats really sad.
