I just ran across this "letter" by gay blogger
Jason Kuznicki. The post is entitled "How not to make me exgay." By reading the homonistic gushing in the comments, you would think Kuznicki had written the century's most endearing answer manifesto. But a quick look at his introduction and you'll discover the letter is fabricated.
Several times a year I receive a letter a lot like the following, which is a composite of several that I’ve gotten.
Interpreted, that means: I made the letter up. Then, of course the reason he didn't put a name is the ole "Often the writers of these letters don’t even bother leaving their real names" trick.
