Church Leadership Conference: Understanding the Intricacies of Homosexuality

Please join us at this conference for a panel discussion and questions and answers sessions. When we are prepared, when we are equipped, we do a better job of reaching out to spread the gospel and minister to a person struggling with homosexuality.

What Attendees Will Learn

Who is the person engaged in homosexuality or bisexuality? How to discern and help a person seeking to resolve a struggle with homosexuality. Discernment is defined as: calling on the Holy Spirit to lead or give direction on a matter. It is how the Spirit shows the church or its people what God wants them to do and be.

Testimony of God’s grace and strength in the covenant of marriage when a partner is struggling with homosexuality or has struggled with homosexuality.

"Gay" Theology of Biblical Passages. How to recognize the different interpretations.

Homosexuality and bisexuality in the Black Church, implementing counseling techniques and reconciliation ministry.

Conference Speakers

Mr. Joe Dallas: Director of Genesis Counseling. He is the author of several books, How Should We Respond, Desires in Conflict, Hope for Men Who Struggle with Sexual Identity, A Strong Delusion: Confronting the Gay Christian Movement, When Homosexuality Hits Home, False Intimacy, and Understanding Pro Gay Theology.

Minister Kevin Giles, and Reverend Angela Giles: Founder of Original Intentions and author of Gay, But Not Happy: Dealing with Your Unwanted Homosexuality.

Pastor DL Foster: Founder and Executive Director of Witness Freedom Ministries. A Nine year ministry to men and women of color who struggle to overcome homosexuality.
