If anyone can point me to some additional current information, I'd be most grateful.
Telling the story from our point of view
December 22, 2005
So Im very interested and concerned that gay victims of domestic violence are "routinely denied" access to shelters in some states. From what I understand this was current in 1995. Im asking if anyone knows of any stats beyond 1995 which would corroborate or refute such claims. I dont agree at all with homosexual marriage, but I think that a shelter denying a woman access because she is a lesbian is plain ridiculous. But I dont have any information to substantiate that, other than this single statistic.
