Refocusing, Redefining, Renewing

Perspectives is changing.

After ten months and over 200 posts, we are refocusing and redefining for the next level.
For some, change is a word loaded with apprehension, misunderstanding and mistrust. But to others change, in order to survive and thrive, is a necessary thing.
That's why we're changing.

Our focus will no longer be on the multiple failings of the gay rights movement. As we have already stated, Perspectives has studiously documented those concerns. There is no doubt in my mind that those failings and errors will continue unabated, but there is a higher and greater need for encouragement, enlightenment and empowerment. That's why we will be focusing on the tremendous work being accomplished all over the country by ordinary people who have come out of homosexuality.

The gift of exhortation is powerful and when employed towards those who are striving to make a difference, results in a greater harvest. Much like a fruit tree which, when pruned, bears a greater quantity and quality of fruit.

Former homosexuals around the country are actively engaged in advancing the kingdom of God and we intend to use our influence to encourage, strengthen and uplift them to do greater things. They are serving as pastors, missionaries, evangelists, business owners, artists, musicians, fathers, husbands, educators, and some are actively engaged in politics. The beautiful mosaic God has crafted out of their lives is an awesome sight to see. As Christians, we understand the focus is ultimately on God who called us out to shine for Him.

Please stay tuned as we transition and reemerge.
