The nation's most theologically "liberal" denomination has lost almost 100 member churches since it affirmed its support for homosexual unions. Those exiting the sinking ship have taken their money with them.
The apostate leaning body was formed in 1957 with 2.1 million members and 7,000 congregations. The denomination has since lost nearly half its members and now has only about 5,600 congregations with less than 1.2 million members.
I wonder why homosexuals haven't rushed in to make up the difference in the lost membership, especially since they are the cause for the loss.
