WorldPride Tehran?

Blogger royalty LaShawn Barber issued a strong challenge to Jane Fonda (and the fondarites) daring them to "go to Iraq, pose for pictures with Islamofascists, and trash your country." With the manufactured outrage springing up in the gay community over reports of the Iranian government's hanging two gay teenagers, I'd like to issue a simular challenge to the hard headed organizers of Worldpride. Instead of desecrating the Holy City, why not go where you are really needed? Iran could probably use a good dose of your in-your-face pride. Tehran is just a little over 900 miles from Jerusalem, so logistics would not be a big problem. Take all the drag queens, gay Christians, AIDS activists, gay flags and go. I dare you.
