Qualified?

Don't you need some sort of minimal qualifications to work with "toubled youth"? At ROSMY, none of the staff nor the board of directors qualifications are listed. How is the public or the organizations which support them to know that some of these people dont have criminal backgrounds or dare we say it are pedophiles?

Sure, its great to have the little "testimonials" saying how swell ROSMY has been, but what's the truth behind an organization that would encourage sexual interaction of any type between "men and boys"? The term "sexual minorities" (the SM in ROSMY) is currently the frase del momento phrase of the moment by gay groups, but I find that it doesnt include diversity of any kind. Its all gay. It underscores how homosexual groups manipulate phrases (tolerance, diversity) to suit their purposes but have no intention to demonstrate the true mean of said word/phrase. So what qualifies a person to oversee a gay youth program? The jury is still out on ROSMY and they are not talking.

ROSMY pulls a fast one

ROSMY's men and boys

I wonder if these companies know their money/support is going to an organization that encourages sexual interaction between men and boys?

  • GE Financial
  • Hunton and Williams
  • Capital One
  • Wachovia Foundation - Wachovia Securitie
  • Iranian teens not hanged for "being gay"

Contrary to the manufacted outrage of homosexual shock groups likes British bred OutRage and their American counterparts HRC, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have all determined that there was no evidence that the two teenagers were executed because they were gay. As reported, the two were accused of raping a 13 year old boy. As I said before, much to the tortured chagrin of detractors who commented here, this was simple manufactured outrage. In other words, they had no facts, just typical emotional neurosis demonstrated by the some gay activists. Read the story here.

    The co$t of becoming gay

Disgruntled former Love In Action attendee, Peterson Tuscano has been going around the country spreading the news of his $30,000 exgay habit. Wagging his exgay experienced finger, he warns frightened homosexuals of the dangers of being exgay. Toscano claims that after he paid all this money, they failed to make him "straight." He only spent two years at LIA, claiming to the Memphis Commercial Appeal he paid "$950 a month for two years". Toscano claims he "joined fundamentalist, then evangelical, then Pentecostal, and finally, charismatic churches. He subjected himself to three exorcisms, including one by a Jamaican woman in New York City. " A Jamaican woman in New York City?? How is that exgay???

Toscano should know first of all that he could have saved that money and went straight (no pun intended) to God and got much more than just being straight-- for free.

So how much does it cost to get to the top of your gay game? You might not know it, but much more than it costs to become straight.

According to the Richmond Organization for Sexual Minority Youth a sexually confused teen at 13 would pay almost $42,000 to learn how be a gay leader. According to ROSMY, that's $2,427 a year for "leadership training and interpersonal development." Whatever that means. Of course, ROSMY doesn't say what that means.

Its been rumored that the official response from ROSMY's man-boy love hookups, is that the "website has not been updated". Wow, what an explanation! I suspect that soon we will start seeing "updates."

I was the first to tell you that the hypocritcal gay community screams loudly (read manufactured "outrage") about other's perceived sins, but blindly neglect their own.

    Let me "entertain" your son...

Recently, gay activists have been up in arms about Memphis based Love In Action's program for teens who have homosexual issues. Among other names the program and ministry has been branded a "deprogramming camp" by detractors. But what alternatives does the gay community have for kids who are confused about their sexuality? You can get a pretty good idea from this group in Richmond, VA.

    CALLING ROSMY MEN & BOYS:
    · Do you want to go to some of Richmond’s hottest gay clubs for free?
    · Educate men about the importance of safe sex and condom use?
Wow, parents! Just think, if your son comes out to you as "gay", in no time he can get hooked up teaching men how to put a condom on and get into "hottest" (that means sex)homosexual clubs.

This is what the Richmond Organization for Sexual Minority Youth (ROSMY) have in mind when they say want to "enhance the general well-being of sexual minority youth."

Why would any organization want to facilitate children interacting sexually with adults? There are no links to the rules for these kids, just invitations to learn about sex. Too bad ROSMY doesnt have the integrity of Love In Action which posts its rules for inhouse teens. Then again, why have rules for sexually hungry gay teens?
    Maybe gregg_johnson@rosmy.org can explain.

I'll update after a little more investigating.

    UPDATE ON ROSMY 07.29.05
ROSMY has removed references to man-boy sexual interactions from their website after the above post was published. Instead of posting an explanation as to why the references were removed, ROSMY simply left big blank spots. However, we still know that there were encouraging men and boys to interact sexually at some point. ROSMY how about an explanation as to your hasty retreat?

    Gays under investigation for terrorism

From Protest Warrior- San Diego Chapter
SAN DIEGO - A Federal Grand Jury has issued subpoenas to several San Diego area homosexual activists for links to domestic terrorism. The Grand Jury is seeking information about individuals who may have attended an event at the Hillcrest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Center (aka “The Center”) on the evening of August 1, 2003.(see Aug 1 story).

The event had been hosted by the radical animal rights group Compassion for Farm Animals, and featured a lecture by convicted arsonist Rodney Coronado.

Coronado was convicted in 1994 of an arson attack on an animal research facility at Michigan State University, and served four years in a federal penitentiary. He had been invited to The Center to speak on the topic of “direct action,” a lecture that apparently included a primer on how to burn down a building.

Although Coronado does not appear to be a target of the investigation (he was reportedly in Tucson at the time the fire was set), the FBI apparently has reason to believe that the person or persons responsible for the University City fire was in attendance at Coronado’s August 1, 2003 lecture.

    ***
AUGUST 1, 2003 -- A massive fire sweeps through an under-construction condominium complex in the University City neighborhood of San Diego, burning it to the ground. The fire causes $50 million in damage, but fortunately does not spread to the neighboring canyon or (inhabited) apartment complexes. No deaths or injuries result. A banner reading "If you build it, we will burn it," with the initials "E.L.F.," is found at the site. The eco-terrorist group Earth Liberation Front claims responsibility for setting the blaze. Despite a lengthy FBI investigation, no arrests are made.

    Do we or dont we?

Interesting. First, gays denied that exgays even existed.
  • Sylvia Pennington was the first one in 1989 to boldly declare such with her book "Exgays? There are none".
  • Journalist denies exgay existence
  • Questioned It

I guess that tactic didn't work. Now, they are "educating society about the existence of "ex-gay" ministries." Sans the recently formed "queer" action committee (look "about QAC"), they are now on a fire and brimstone, gayvangelical mission to tell the world that exgays do exist...and we are baaaaaaad people.
    The mystery deepens.

  • Top 10 Myths

Well, it looks like I have been forced to clear up some myth-conceptions about Perspectives, so that my loyal readers will know what they can and cannot do on this blog. And to salvage my squeaky clean image from character assassins.

Myth #1 - A commenter can say whatever they want to say including insulting DL Foster without repercussions.
FACT - I will liberally use the D&B process to shut you down. D&B stands for delete and ban.

Myth #2 - Im not a Christian or a man if I use the D&B process.
FACT - The D&B process actually proves I am indeed a man and a Christian (and fairly intelligent, too).

Myth #3 - I owe you an explanation of what I write.
FACT - I owe you another post on what I don't owe you.

Myth #4 - DL Foster is a bigot.

FACT - That is subjective at best.

Myth #5 - DL Foster is homophobic.
FACT - No, but I really do hate rodents (childhood trauma).

Myth #6 - This blog is homophobic.
FACT - You are overusing that word. In about 4 years it will be obsolete from so much overusage.

Myth #7 - Exgays are homophobic.
FACT - There you go again! Youre about to take a D&B excursion!

Myth #8 - DL Foster is full of hate.
    FACT - (See #4)

Myth #9 - DL Foster is getting rich writing this blog and making a pretty penny fighting gay rights, too.
FACT - That's not what my tax statements say.

Myth #10 - This blog is a hate site.
FACT - That's not true. It is not listed at hatewatch.org

Update: Are you wondering why after you stayed up all night telling DL Foster off, your comment dissapeared into thin air? Well wonder no longer. I perform regular comment clean up. If your comment attacks me personally, its fed to the deletion lions. If you do it a couple of more times, I ban you. You are free to argue your point as long as you like, but if you personally insult me, I will delete your comment without hesitation or explanation (youre getting that now). Happy commenting.

    www.Hungry for Blood.com

Activist gays (and uhhh one nongay activist) show up with stones in hand.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before certain social vultures from the homosexual website "exgaywatch" would arrive here, stones in hand.

Well, its unfortunate, a great many of the gays residing at EGW are the political activist types (whom I focus on here) who make it their business to mock, accuse, berate, denigrate, lie, distort, character assasinate, and the likes. Their main focus is to dehumanize former homosexuals and our work but anyone who supports us or encourages us is dragged into the coliseum too.

Yet, when a thimble full of attention is turned on a few of their multiple social bloopers, they arrive to rant, rave and condemn about my not being a Christian. How amusing.

Its tactics like that: intimidation, group protests and wild eyed accusations which has served the activist homosexual movement well in attempting to beat America into submission. Want an example? Surely, I'll oblige.

Recently, a post on exgaywatch appeared stating "WORLD Magazine Attacks United Methodist Church For Tolerating Gay Church Group". One of the staff posters, Daniel Gonzales, urged gays at the site gang up and "point out the spiritual hypocrisy, elitism and ugliness..." of World Blog.

Would you like to see what got the social vultures in a feeding frenzy? Surely, I'll oblige.

Gay advocacy by Methodist church? On Labor Day weekend, the United Methodist Church’s main conference center will host “Hearts on Fire,” a homosexual rally. Reconciling Congregations, the homosexual group putting on the rally, seeks to overturn the church’s official stance on gays. “Since Lake Junaluska’s own internal rules require it to rent its facilities only to groups that share the ‘mission’ of the United Methodist Church, it seems highly inappropriate to rent those facilities for a rally for same-sex ‘marriage,’ homosexual clergy, and various exotic forms of sexual expression,” commented the Institute on Religion and Democracy's Mark Tooley. Posted by Whitney at July 22, 2005 10:17 AM
Yep, that's it. About 100 words or so. The comments that ensued are incredible.Read them for yourself. One even called the Bible "pornographic."

    WorldPride Tehran?

Blogger royalty LaShawn Barber issued a strong challenge to Jane Fonda (and the fondarites) daring them to "go to Iraq, pose for pictures with Islamofascists, and trash your country." With the manufactured outrage springing up in the gay community over reports of the Iranian government's hanging two gay teenagers, I'd like to issue a simular challenge to the hard headed organizers of Worldpride. Instead of desecrating the Holy City, why not go where you are really needed? Iran could probably use a good dose of your in-your-face pride. Tehran is just a little over 900 miles from Jerusalem, so logistics would not be a big problem. Take all the drag queens, gay Christians, AIDS activists, gay flags and go. I dare you.

    gay teens and death

There is outrage (manufactured by the British gay group Outrage) over the hanging of two teenagers in Iran alledgedly **only** because of homosexuality.

While it 'offends' Western sensibilities and enrages the activist homosexual community, it also reveals a deep level of hypocrisy and selective outrage when gay teenagers mix it up with death.

Take for example the case of two Georgia gay teenagers who executed one of the girl's grandparents in cold blood, because they had been forbidden to see each other.

Was there any outrage from homosexuals? Nope, not a peep.
Take for example the case of 13 year Jesse Dirkhising who was murdered by two homosexual men after they used him for unmentionable sex acts. One of the murderers ate a sandwich while the boy lay on the floor dying. Any outrage from the gay community? nope. Not a peep. There was no loss of words. No shock expressed. No candlelit vigils. GLAAD, official keepers of the gay image flame, had one response to the news about the teenager's brutal murder: Christians were responding with homophobia.

But two Iranian teenagers are hanged according to their government's laws, and the outrage is boundless.

The problem I see is that homosexual activists quickly excuse or ignore cases where other homosexual criminals are in the drivers seat, but scream loudly when they are the "victims". It appears all they seek are martyrs (can you say Matthew Shepherd?) much like the terrorists who send suicide bombers in to ravage human life. It's just to advance their agenda, rather than being truly outraged at the loss of any human life. Doesn't that sort of selective devaluing of human life expose the "outrage" as nothing but agenda mongering?

What you sed in all over?

    OFFTOPIC::
Does my title make sense? Of course not. But thats how the following letter from a college junior sounds to me. I'm not kidding you! This is a real letter(posted verbatim) from a college newspaper. All I can say is that the person must have slept through english and grammar... Okay, use comments to chew me out or agree with me that somebody needs some english tutoring.

    Letters to the Editor
Student urges student body to seek truth
    April 25, 2005
    A Misinformed Student Body,

I am compelled to say wow. On behalf of integrity and parity, I urge the student body to be more than just lazy. Be more than just impartial, but be an informed student body. Know that everything that you hear is not true. So if the truth is to be told, than let it be told right.

Please note that: Members of the Student Election Commission were, in fact, not in rumor discovered by many members of SEC cheating, discarding ballots, and allowing people to vote twice. One member of SEC was, in fact, not in rumor expelled. Also take in consideration that this was not a shock, or surprise to anyone involved regardless of how it is portrayed. Also be thoroughly aware that a petition to end the re-election of Miss TSU is unauthorized by Dean Myles and Dean Lockridge, and can be considered illegal campaigning. And also note that alleged members of this crusade against justice are unaware of the facts and misinformed. Be aware that everyone who voted on Thursday, votes were not counted and were unable to be retrieved for ACCURACY purposes, thus that is, the only reason that there is a re-vote. The issue is not the margin of victory but the accuracy of it.

It puzzles me that even the upper echelon of Tennessee State University does not allow their mere minds to venture into what exactly is going on. It frightens me that the student body would actualize the rumors of particular candidates and assume that this information is accurate. It outrages me that the administration allowed the disenfranchisement of several members of the student body with no outcry from them. It confuses me that in classrooms, dorm lobbies, and gazebos throughout the campus there are rumors of despicable measure allowed to feaster without any raising of doubt or concern for truth.

Door to Door petitioning in the midst of slandering someone else is petty. Feeding the student body lies is disappointing. Displaying such hatred towards a fellow tiger, when you can’t ride the elevators of Hale Hall without profane comments is silly. Going from fired roommate/campaign manager, to hometown cameo appearance in another pageant to co-conspirator in slandering someone you call your friend is suspect. SEC week 2005 with its dividing of friendships as an act of hazing for sorority intake, ripping down posters, losing votes, and spreading lies about others is gossip worthy. I can’t say with certainty that even half of TSU was actively participating in any SEC activities of essential merit but hoped at the opportunity to sign an unauthorized petition to stop a re-vote out of complacency and laziness. This matter leaves me to believe that nothing short of a miracle (not pun intended) could salvage this situation.

    Coming: Exgaywatch's resident Indian "expert"

I plan to talk a little about Regan DuCasse, resident indian gay history expert, Christian basher and avoider of lesbians among other things. Whats up with that? You'll see.

    Wilson's lesbian sermonette

Interesting read (check out the comments, too) from The Black Informant on the Willie Wilson sermonette controversy.

    exlewd at emory?

Matt Bass is insane. Yep, he's gay. He was trying to fool Baylor and get a theology degree (probably to use against them) but got kicked out. And get this, after he sent over 1,000 lewd (a word which means preoccupied or overemphasized with sex) emails to University officials and their family members at Baylor, he is accepted at Emory here in Atlanta as a theology student.
Recently, a judge ordered him to pay $77,000 for his rather heinous laciviousness.

But who knows, maybe he is cured of lewdosexuality now that he is at Emory? If so, I guess you would call him an exlewd. But then again, according to gay activists you really can't change who you are, just what you do. If that's true, then Bass is probably collecting Emory familiy and friends email addresses right now.

For the record, if you google articles about him, and you'll discover not one gay publication or organization chided him about this sexual terrorism. Rather, he is celebrated as the poster child of gay victimization. What does that tell you about the gay community?

    Slumming with Salon

After reading the latest attempt by Salon to do the "responsible" media thing and squash the bad, bad exgay/reparative therapy bugs, I have coined a new term. salonning - media in drag i.e. straight publications who masquerade as gay publications.

Dragger Mark Benjamin launches into a four part "investigation" of all things exgay. You can tell by the story title (and accompanying artwork), that the "investigative" judge and jury has already determined that being exgay is hazardous to your health. What else is new from the we-hate-exgays camp? But of course, after close unbiased scrutiny, quorum of social consent has decided being gay is the best thing ever created since sliced bread. Like I said, what else is new from this camp? No pun intended. Draggers like Benjamin love to use the word "cure" in association with our work. A word we have never used and never will because it doesn't reflect what we do nor the purpose for which we do it.

The only good thing about this upcoming series is that it will keep on giving free publicity to our ministries for the thousands of homosexual men and women who are sick and tired of living in the gay matrix. Thanks to salonning, they can find a way out. Turning off gay

    Those darn black preachers!

Black preachers are at it again. They just wont preach tolerance and acceptance of homosexuality from their pulpits. Of course, that has the homosexual community hopping mad (reg may be required)because after all they never say bad things about other people. They never call other people names or make fun of them. They never discriminate against anyone. All homosexuals are just as loving, sweet, docile, kind and as sugary nice little Laura Ingalls on Little House on the little Prarie.
But those darn black preachers! When are they gonna get with the program?? They thump the Bible, start hollering, get all sweaty, talk about sin, tell people hell is real and have the nerve to call homosexuality unnatural. Well, that's just downright intolerable. I mean everybody knows by now that gays can't change their homosexuality. Why, the APA said so. And you know that when the APA says it, doc, you can bet your grandma's apple pie thats its true. And you know what they say: who would choose such a life of misery (start weeping here)?
And plus, gays give so much money to the black church and do all of their music stuff, so black preachers should just leave them alone! And while they're at it, they should stop telling people adultery, fornication, lying, cheating on taxes, cheating on welfare documents, being lazy, and parking in the First Lady's parking spot is wrong, too.
Here's one black preacher who doesnt seem to get it yet. Rev. Willie F. Wilson, pastor of Union Temple Baptist Church in DC, it seems "went off" as we say sometimes, even though his choice of words may have been a bit gruff, he told the anatomical truth, Ruth. I can't understand why someone would get angry when you say "hey that square peg wasn't meant to fit into that round hole!". To me, that's the kind of folk that would argue with a stop sign. Isn't that why as little kids, our kindergarten teachers let us practice putting the shapes in the right holes (no pun intended)?
***post is not an endorsement of said preachers choice of words.

    "Zach" lives!

Okay, great. Life is good. Zach is a real person. I didnt question his reality only whether he was actually enrolled in the LIA program. However, let us not forget his parents still retain autonomous rights over their child until he is an adult. Warren Throckmorton had some interesting comments about Zach and his parents here.
Like, Warren: I make my kids go to bed when they dont want to
I made my teenage daughter be home at 11pm for dates (she didnt like that much)
I make my kids clean up their room at times (that really is punishment!)
Why? Because I am their father. Case closed. If Zach's parents want to make their son go to a program to deal with his sexuality, then that's their perogative and has absolutely no bearing on Love In Action. They provide a service which cannot be accessed without choice.
Sidenote to Scott (and others): There was no intentional attempt on this blog to delete any comments. After I added haloscan commenting and trackbacking (see my post) all comments from the Blogspot system went poof. Of course, being new to Blogville, I didnt know that. The comments --even the disagreeable ones-- were golden. If anyone knows how they can be retrieved, I would appreciate that information.

    IMAGINE THAT!

Let me prepare you for this. A green elephant with a cigar in his right hand robbed a bank. The reason: President Bush didnt send him a Christmas present. Two men in a pink tutu killed each other after they figured out that the tutu was only big enough for one of them. The reason: a baby on a city bus in Austin, TX cried too loud. Four African fish stole a car from a local rental agency. The reason: the fish claimed it was too cold in Alaska. Finally, a lesbian woman spent $40,000 on a female prostitute in one night. The reason, she said was to in response to reparations claims made by blacks. Okay, now here's the REAL STORY A "gay" psychologist (with a MSW) wrote that the reason a man killed his baby son was because of exgay ministries and reparative therapy. Joe Kort wrote at exgaywatch(Im embarrassed to repeat this)
"This article at 365gay.com is an illustration of the damage that Reparative Therapy and the ex-gay movement does to children--particularly males. In Preventing Homosexuality by authors and RT's Joseph Nicolosi and his wife they encourage restrictive gender roles for the children. It is my strong opinion that this is gender abuse to believe that men and women should only act a certain way. It fosters this type of abuse that this father did to this poor child who is now dead!"
    Imagine that
    green elephants
    car stealing fish
    $40,000 lesbian hooker tale
    exgay murder ministry
two dead men in a pink tutu
Kort doesn't present any evidence that Ronnie and Nysheerah Paris(possibly a black couple) were ever involved with exgay ministry or had ever heard of reparative therapy. Its just like the green elephant and the presidential bday present. Seriously, it belies the abject fear and loathing some gay have for exgays and our ministries. It also demonstrates why the APA, and their cohorts of mental health "professionals" are so adamantly against us. Look who's minding the store. Final thought: and they're giving out MSW's for this?

    The Lazarus Connection

OFF TOPIC:: I know a few things about Lazarus. I first became interested in him when I was researching for my book Touching A Dead Man.
Lazarus got sick one day and died. The Bible doesnt say what his illness was which is great because it allows you to self identify with him by inserting your own "illness" into the prognosis of the riveting story. The behind the scenes story line is that Lazarus and Jesus were very good friends, intimate in a nonsexual way, I would even venture to say. I know this because after Lazurus died and Jesus came to see the family and he "wept". The Jews remarked with awe "see how he loved him." The personal pain and conflict in a story like this is difficult to digest. Here is Jesus with the demonstrated ability to heal sickness, but when the sisters called for him to come, he didn't. Even though he held them in high regard and loved Lazarus, he didn't budge. I'm sure they thought that Jesus just didn't understand the seriousness of the situration. What kind of friend is that? Most of us wouldn't have spoken to Jesus again as long as we lived, had he snubbed us like that during a time of crisis. Perhaps you have fallen out with a friend because they didnt show up when you needed them. Are you sure you understand why? You have to know this man's heart...and his purpose though. His heart beat hard and fast to rush to Lazarus' bedside, lay his hands on him and lift him up, but God had a greater purpose for this. Even though the disciples (clueless) warned him not to go back, Jesus revealed this was about something on the grander scheme of things. This is for the glory of God.
Anyway, as the story goes, Jesus calls Lazarus from his grave of four days and in front of all the traditionally correct (tc) Jews he told them to "loose him and let him go." This was akin to saying "Go eat 3 slices of bacon". Levitical law stipulated that to touch any dead thing would instantly defile. But Lazarus was alive wasn't he? He was, but not to the traditionally correct. So they had a BIG problem with that.
There are far too many deep, life changing lessons stitched into John 11:1-44 (I suggest you read it from the Message Bible version) for me to tell you about here. Get my book for the full Monty.
The other day, I read an unlikely story in which Billy Graham's evangelistic heir apparent, Bishop TD Jakes of Dallas made reference to it. He was speaking to the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA), a liberal black media group. During his address to the group, Jakes used the Lazarus analogy to compare Lazarus' sickness to the ills ( among them homosexuality) plaguing many young blacks. Its refreshing to know that there is still a balm in Gilead and there is hope for those sick with sin. His name is still Jesus.

Bedroom lies for the gay eye

Luther Vandross died on Friday. You would think that people would celebrate a man's great contribution to good love songs. Its hard to mention a night of amour with your biological male or famale, opposite sex, covenant marriage partner (sorry, have to qualify these days) without "Lutha" being somewhere in your bedroom. But gays are unhappy about Luther's death. Not like you would think though. Gays seem to always want to use any situation to bolster their agenda of gay=good. That's why they're angry that Luther never openly declared he was a homosexual. So in the wake of his death, they are determined to help him out and say it for him. Peter Tatchell, the lying British gay activist, recently did the same thing to black social change icon Malcolm X (see Rewriting Black History?). So Chris Crain, a white editor with the Southern Voice launches on a "we-been-miffed" super-slur of Vandross. Crain intimates what most activist gays feel: contempt and hatred for anyone they feel betrays "the cause". And poor Luther just wanted to protect his right to privacy. But that's not a honorable concept for them. For a group of people who are always harping about respect and equality, they haven't quite grasped what that means outside of their own selfish goals. Respect Luther? Not a chance. Crain scavenges up all of the suggestive quotes by Vandross he can find and comes to the grand, self congratulatory conclusion that Vandross was a "homo". Hear the disdain? Crain's disdain even accuses Vandross of "wearing a straight wig." How smug and arrogant. Its part of a new gay hatched strategy to smear anyone (famous that is) who dies and reorient their legacy with a new homosexual identity. Remember Abe Lincoln, our 16th President? Betcha didn't know he was gay. Well, revisionist history is literally out of control in the hands of these activists. God help us all. And by the way, rest in peace Luther.

    SOVO's 65,000 gay vet hoax

In its Friday edition, the gay newsweekly Southern Voice trumpets that 65,000 gay veterans live in Texas. Sovo attributes the number to Urban Institute, a "nonpartisan econimic and social policy organization". But they are dead wrong. The 65,000 is muddy, fuzzy math. Actually its a lie. There are no 65,000 gay veterans in Texas. Here's the actual quote from the UI website report: "Estimates suggest that more than 36,000 gay men and lesbians are serving in active duty, representing 2.5 percent of active duty personnel. When the guard and reserve are included, nearly 65,000 men and women in uniform are likely gay or lesbian, accounting for 2.8 percent of military personnel." link here First let me lob a few questions at this assertion by UI. 1. Whose estimates determine that there are 36,000 gay men and women serving on active duty? 2. What methodology did they use to determine or estimate this number, especially given the "dont ask, dont tell" policy currently in effect? 3. Simularly, how do they determine the additional numbers of "gay men and women" in the National Guard? Without, credible scientific evidence to back up these claims, they are nothing more than hyped, liberal leaning theory mongering. The report is intended to be a fiery dart aimed at Texas Govenor Rick Perry who recently told gays who didnt like Texas law to consider living somewhere else. Classic "Dont mess with Texas" language. So, enter the 65,000 myth. Its as if to say Perry, you just offended 65,000 voting gay citizens of Texas! Not a fat chance. Perry was right to lay down the facts: If you don't like it, leave. Or do like every other citizen and work within the legal framework to change laws you don't agree with. Gays don't want to use fair legal means to change laws. They employ activist judges, emotional hand wringing arguments and superhyped "statistics" to sway public opinion. Remember the 10% myth? Well, at best there are 2.8% of the population is fixed homosexual. All others flucuate and many have completely left homosexual identities. There are no 65,000 homosexual veterans in Texas.

    Allstate wrong says official report

I'm passing along an email I received today regarding Allstate who fired an employee because he opposed homosexuality: The State of Illinois (Department of Employment Security) conducted a thorough investigation into Allstate’s actions and ruled, without equivocation, in favor of Mr. Barber. The investigation determined: "The claimant (Mr. Barber) was discharged from Allstate Insurance Company because an outside organization had complained about an article he had written while on his own time." Allstate did not identify the "outside organization." The State's investigation further concluded that Allstate intentionally chose to terminate Barber’s employment for writing the article despite the fact that he engaged in no misconduct whatsoever: "The term misconduct means the deliberate and willful violation of a reasonable rule or policy of the employer…In this case, the claimant’s action which resulted in his discharge was not deliberate and willful." This determination, issued March 8, 2005, was not appealed by Allstate. To see the official document,Click here On May 26, 2005, Attorney David Gibbs III of the Christian Law Association filed suit in federal court against Allstate Insurance Company on behalf of Mr. Barber. He had been employed as a manager in the corporate security division at the company's Chicago area headquarters. The case, No. 05-cv-03152, has been assigned to Judge Amy St. Eve, and an initial case status hearing is scheduled for July 20, 2005. The firing of Mr. Barber is in keeping with Allstate’s promotion of the homosexual agenda including homosexual marriage. A few examples:
  • Participated in the PRIDEChicago Celebration 2004 35th Annual Parade
  • Gave $10,000 to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), a homosexual organization which promotes homosexual marriage. – story
  • Supports homosexual websites with advertising dollars. – Click here
  • Gave $5,000 to the Indiana University office of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Student Support Services. story
  • Gave $15,000 to the Gay & Lesbian Center in Los Angeles.- story Allstate released a mealy mouthed statement basically hiding behind "privacy concerns" but saying they have never discriminated against any current or former employee expressing personal religious views on their own time. And these are the "good hands" people?

    Gays after LIA...again.

This is a recurring rainbow nightmare! The same forces that squealed and lied about LIA's live in program the first time which prompted an investigation by the Tennesee DCS, are at it again. Remember, I was the one who said it here first. (read Case Closed) I told you this wasn't over. Hate is a powerful motivator especially when used against those who stand to blow your carefully crafted cover. Now, the Tennessee Department of Health has notified LIA that they are suspected of "operating illegally" according to a story by the homosexual weekly The Blade. As it was established after the first investigation, there was no evidence that the boy who allegedly prompted the whole exgay witch hunt, was even a program recipient. But like the proabortionists in '73 who used Norma McCorvey (Roe v Wade) to push abortion rights, these gays have only one purpose for "Zach". Use him as a weapon against the hated exgays. On a related side note, exgay lampooneer Peter Toscano issues a telling comment on exgaywatch saying that the real reason this whole fiasco came about was to create a stained reputation for LIA. Says Toscano on the outcome of the TN DCS investigation, "But the stigma of this investigation will always be there, regardless of the outcome. Yes, we are innocent until proven guilty in the US, but in reality, once someone is investigated, they live with a stain." In other words, Toscano is saying regardless of what LIA does, or what is legally determined about the program, we hate them and will continue to undermine their work. Hoods are coming off!

Letters from the dead, vol 2

Have you ever heard a racist white person let that phrase "you people" slip out of their mouths? I have many times. Well interestingly enough, I got the following from a nameless man and wow did he let his true colors come shining though. I don't mean those beautiful, rainbow colors like gays have on their flag. I mean the ones painted with disdain and hateful arrogancy. The same kind of colors black folk had to face on the mean streets of Montgomery, AL back in the sixties. You people. What does that mean? When it is directed at a specified group I think it it means you (disgusting) people. I think it means people who are viewed as inferior to the speaker or the writer. Anyway, after a rerun of a show I did with the new rapid fire talk show Faith Under Fire, which originally aired on PAX TX last fall, I woke up the next morning to this email. By the way, I wasn't even aware that PAX was going to reair the show. Here's the email.
I had the misfortune to land on your appearance on Faith Under Fire while channel surfing tonight. Your arrogance was astonishing. You apparently know NOTHING of Christ! Jesus was a man of humility and showed love for ALL -- mostly for the outcasts and the sinners -- his best friends. Who are YOU to stand in judgement? What part of "Judge Not - and Thou Shalt Not Be Judged?" The other guest made very valid arguments in that there are MANY passages in the Bible that we no longer observe. Call me Stevie Wonder, but I did not notice asterisks and disclaimers that certain passages need no longer be observed. Need I remind you that there are STILL many in this country alone that can cite passages that justify slavery. I'm certain you'd object if that were the prevailing interpretation of our day. Some would revel in putting you people back on the plantation and using the fact that it's "in the Bible" as justification. (MY BOLDFACE) Sadly - you are simply a bigot and a pig proclaiming that YOU have the direct line to God and get to act as His personal interpretor. You're not. Grow up.
Besides, misquoting the Bible, which I don't think he holds in high regard, mischaracterizing Jesus and flat out Biblical ignorance (we are EXPECTED to talk directly with God) "southendguy" (his email name)seems to really get off calling me names. Perhaps he slept through the gay created "No Name Calling Week". At any rate, I hope this fellow will stop channel surfing or better yet keep these kinds of homoracist thoughts to himself. What do you think?
